Pompei, Italy

The Challenge & Concept
The project in Pompeii presented an incredibly interesting, non-trivial challenge. As is often the case with festivals, you are handed just a designated section of a wall. But the location—tucked under a bridge with a raw, imperfect, and distinctly uncleaned surface—demanded a more adaptive approach.I deliberately chose to bypass borders and completely avoided painting a traditional background. Instead, I wanted the artwork to fluidly and organically fit into the environment. The strategy was simple: minimal material consumption for maximum structural integration. By letting the raw texture of the bridge breathe through the lines, the piece breaks free from standard frames and becomes one with the architectural debris of the city.
