The Backstory: Turning a Workshop into a Monumental Wall
My first significant project in Romania came together completely spontaneously. It started when Livia Florea reached out, asking me to host a workshop. Traveling from Chișinău for a small, insignificant wall didn't make much sense at the time, so I proposed a collaboration: if she could secure a massive wall and a cherry picker, I would provide the paint, get Caparol on board, and deliver both the workshop and a lecture.
• The Execution: Remarkably, someone organizing an art event for the very first time pulled everything together in just one week.
• The Timeline: In October 2019, we executed the entire mural in 5 days.
The Concept: We Are Responsible for What We Tame
The artwork is deeply inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s timeless story, The Little Prince. It serves as a visual reminder of why we must value, cherish, and care for those we have tamed and brought close to our hearts.
